Dr. Clark B. Zimmerman, III, also known as "Dr. Z" founded this practice in 1973. He cared for the Parker Community for 28 years and retired in 2001.
Dr. Clark B. Zimmerman, IV, like his name, followed in his father's footsteps. He has become affectionately known as "Dr. Ben", as it was easier for all to differentiate between father and son.
Dr. Zimmerman attended Douglas County High School, then completed his undergraduate degree at Colorado College. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Colorado Medical School. Dr. Zimmerman performed his residency training at Harrisburg Hospital in Pennsylvania where he was a chief resident.
Following residency, in 1997, Dr. Zimmerman decided to return to his hometown and join his father in practice. He and his wife Lori have two sons and a daughter. Dr. Zimmerman has always loved Colorado and is excited to raise his own family here. During time away from the office, he enjoys hiking, fishing, gardening, trains, and time with his family.
"Dr. Ben" emphasizes sports medicine, colon cancer screening, well child, and adult care.
Dr. Linda Tetor grew up in the Finger Lakes Region of Bath, NY. Following high school she was a Rotary Exchange Student to Denmark. She obtained her undergraduate education at Penn State University. Dr. Tetor attended Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA and trained with Dr. Zimmerman, IV during her residency at Harrisburg Hospital. Following her residency, she continued her education with a one year Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship in Harrisburg.
Dr. Tetor moved to Colorado in 1998 to practice medicine in a state that she has found enchanting. She enjoys many outdoor activities, crafts, baking, and singing in the church choir.
She specializes her Family Practice skills in Maternal and Child care. "I love the continuity of seeing women for medical care, and then caring for the children as well. To me, that's what Family Medicine is all about".
Dr. Kent Horiuchi was born and raised in Denver, CO. He attended George Washington High School in Denver, and then received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Horiuchi obtained his medical degree from St. Louis University in Missouri.
Dr. Horiuchi completed his family residency at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Horiuchi worked as the medical director for the health Center at Auraria on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver for 2 years.
Dr. Horiuchi is excited to join the family at Hilltop Family Physicians and looks forward to joining the Parker community. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine, and their son and daughter. He also enjoys exercise, basketball, softball, snowboarding and fishing.
Lauren Harris, PA-C was born in Pueblo, Colorado but attended high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She returned to Colorado to study at Colorado State University. Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science with a Sports Medicine concentration. She completed her studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where she graduated with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies.
Lauren enjoys family medicine becasue of the wide variety of patients and cases. She is particularly interested in women's care, orthopedics, patient education and preventative medicine.
Newly married, Lauren and her husband, Shane, enjoy living in the Parker area. In her spare time Lauren likes to read, camp, hike, golf and definitely cheer on the Denver Broncos! She is excited to be part of the Hilltop Family Physicians team.
Chelsea Dezen, PA-C was born and raised in Denver, CO. She attended Kent Denver High School in Cherry Hills. Chelsea received her undergraduate degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and in 2005, she spent a semester enhancing her fluency in Seville, Spain. Chelsea earned her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Chelsea is excited to be back in Colorado and providing health care to a broad spectrum of people. Her particular interests in Family Medicine include cardiology, dermatology, and women's health.
Outside of the clinic, Chelsea enjoys the Colorado sunshine by skiing, biking, and hiking. She also designs and sells a jewelry line, My Body~My Beauty, which is inspired by the inner workings of the human body. Chelsea is looking forward to bringing her creativity and passion for medicine to the Hilltop Family Physicians team!
