WE'VE GOT A BIG PILL TO SWALLOW! (and we are slowly choking it down.....)

We started implementing our Electronic Medical Record in April and as of July 1st are in full swing.  At this time we want to thank all of our patients that have been patient with us during this transition.  Are we done?  No.  While we are in full swing, we are still working out kinks and continually reassessing workflows to make everyone's experience the best that it can be.  Are the longer wait times over?  Probably not.  While wait times are definitely better now than they were in April, patients are still experiencing increased wait times during our peak hours (especially on Mondays and Fridays).  Experts tell us that it takes about 6 months for a practice to learn an EMR and be truly comfortable with it.  At this point our administrative staff is half way there and our clinical staff is one-third there.  Our goal is to be "back to normal" by cold and flu season.

Again, THANK YOU for your continued patience during this time of transition and as always, if you have any questions please feel free to speak with our office manager, Jennifer.
